Help the Home Office to tackle crimes against businesses

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News , Political News

The surveyHome Office has asked businesses to take part in the Commercial Victimisation Survey (CVS)- an important survey on the nature, extent and cost of crimes against businesses in England and Wales.

It is used to:

  • monitor crime trends
  • identify what needs to be done to reduce crime
  • find out what support, advice and information would be most helpful to businesses
  • investigate how COVID-19 has changed the nature and frequency of crimes

The Home Office need to hear from as many businesses as possible, including yours.

The Home Office have highlighted that they are interested in speaking with as many businesses as possible, whether or not your business has been a victim of crime. Only then can they be sure that the results represent the experiences of all businesses.

An Ipsos MORI interviewer may call you

Ipsos MORI, an independent social research organisation, is carrying out the survey on behalf of the Home Office. The survey will take place in summer 2021. During this time, an Ipsos MORI interviewer may call you to conduct an interview over the telephone, or to arrange a convenient time to call back. The interview should take about 20 minutes. All responses will remain totally confidential and anonymous for all individuals and organisations.

If your business is selected at random to participate in this survey, the Home Office would be very grateful for your time and would very much appreciate your input into this important survey.

More information on the survey can be found here.
