Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced cycle mechanic to work at our shop in Crowborough.

Our workshop is the beating heart of Bikegoo and you will be required to service all types of customer bikes, build and PDI new bikes for sale, as well as maintaining our fleet of demo bikes.

The working hours are open to discussion. We can offer both part time and full time options. We will aim to build the job around the right person. The salary will be competitive and dependent on experience.

Any job offer will be dependent on the successful completion of a trial period.

Skills/Experience Required

You will need to be experienced in cycle assembly and repair and be knowledgeable in the use of a range of cycle tools and equipment. Experience working in a professional cycle workshop would be a distinct advantage.

Preferably you will be Cytech qualified, but this is not essential. Additional in-house training will be provided if required.

You will need to be able to work autonomously on servicing work and have a keen attention for detail. Most importantly you will need to be a great communicator and a team player.

You will need to liaise with customers and must be confident speaking face to face or on the phone.

You will need to be computer literate and proficient in using the internet and social media.

We are mountain bike specialists and experience in suspension servicing, disc brake servicing or full suspension bike maintenance, as well as a passion for all things MTB, would be preferred
