Job Description

We have a part time employment opportunity in our workshop (24 hours per week - with scope for more hours during busy periods and as the business grows) and we want to hear from you if you would like to be part of our team.

We invite you to approach us and tell us what you have to offer and why you would be an asset to our business.

Our business has been built on the reputation of our workshop, something which we take great pride in. You will be working in a bright, well equipped space alongside the workshop manager. We see all disciplines of bike coming for service or repair from entry level to pro level dream builds, so there is plenty of opportunity to grow and be challenged.

In our store we stock bikes from Genesis, Ridgeback, Saracen, Orbea and Merida.

Skills/Experience Required

As a minimum, you must be qualified to Cytech 2 level or equivalent (or have several years experience in a workshop mechanic role). You must be, or have been very recently, working actively as a bike mechanic.  At this particular time we are not looking to recruit a trainee.

You need to be the kind of person who is interested in new developments and takes responsibility for and pride in pushing your skills forward. You need be to great at communicating verbally and in writing. Accuracy and attention to the finer details of a job will be very important to you.

In our small team it is likely that you will at times find yourself in our retail space during busy periods. You need to be the kind of person who will embrace that and enjoy working with customers and delivering service to our very high standards. Many mechanics have a bit of a fear of that, but not you, you're happy to be keeping your daily routine fresh and varied and supporting the wider team to achieve our goals.

In the first instance please contact Craig@stirlingcycles.co.uk attaching your C.V and explaining why you want to join our team. We look forward to hearing from you.
