Job Description

MTB Monster mechanics are an essential part of the success of our business and are as passionate about bikes as they are our customers. Every day will offer variety as you begin to take responsibility for all elements of the success of the stores repair and service offer.

This is a varied role ideal for an enthusiastic individual who works well in a team and enjoys the demands of a busy company. Responsibilities will include bike building, PDI, and repairs. Good IT and communication skills are essential.

The perfect candidate will be a passionate cyclist. We specialise in mountain and electric bikes and all of our staff are passionate riders.

Our team are positive, enthusiastic and inquisitive about our products, services and the people that buy them. To do this job well, youíll need to share these qualities and be happy to work hard as part of a team thatís constantly on the move.

In return you will get supported and trained by our Cytech qualified mechanics and put through the Cytech qualifications yourself. You will be visited at work by your training provider on a regular basis. You will receive an annual pay review and the chance to experience other areas of the business and follow your interests. As an apprentice you will also be eligible for full staff discount on bikes and accessories.

Skills/Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining their own bicycle.†
