This September's NEC Cycle Show will give consumers their first chance to see the new Raleigh 2014 range first hand.

Previewed earlier this year via special invite-only events, the NEC Cycle Show gives Raleigh the chance to showcase its stunning new road bike range in front of the most influential cycling fans in the country.

Developed in collaboration with Team Raleigh, 2014's road range will feature over 25 new models.

The much-sought-after MILITIS performance road bike range has been expanded to include three carbon models and two alloy models.

The £5000 Militis Team bike featuring SRAM Red22 demonstrated its performance pedigree with its first race appearance at the Tour of Britain, ridden by Tom Scully.

The REVENIO endurance road bike range has also been expanded to seven models, including the new 2014 Revenio Carbon 4 with Shimano Ultegra DI2 technology.

New AURA time-trial models, an EQUINOX track bike (coming Jan 2014) and four new RX cyclo-cross bikes give the clearest indication of Raleigh's ambition to dominate the road market with a comprehensive range of elite cycles.

There are also big changes afoot in Raleigh's lifestyle and city range with an expanded STRADA flat handlebar commuter offering.

Eight models will make up the Strada range in 2014, including revolutionary new features such as SRAM automatic gears and SRAM hub gears on an affordable range, perfect for riders who want to avoid gear maintenance and enjoy hassle-free commuting.

Raleigh's Managing Director Mark Gouldthorp said: "From the media, from bike shops and from the public, the response to 2013's Raleigh range has been absolutely fantastic.

"We've built on that positive platform by developing and expanding on our 2014 product range at the performance end of the market.

"We've also taken a look at other types of consumers that have a strong affinity with the brand and have partnered with SRAM to expand and develop the commuter and leisure market with exciting new technology options including hub gears and belt drive bikes, expected in store in early 2014."

Raleigh's performance, endurance and cyclocross road bikes and lifestyle bikes will be at stand E20 at the NEC Cycle Show from Thursday 26th until Sunday 30th September 2013.

In addition, Raleigh's electric bike range will be on display at stand E50 and, as part of Raleigh's distribution arm the company will also be featuring bikes from Haibike (stand L56), Diamondback (L20) and Dahon (E69) plus trailers from Burley (E69).
