A study by Halfords has revealed some key facts about UK cyclists.
According to the survey of 4000 adults in the UK, almost one in 10 adults have never learned how to ride a bike.
Of those who do know how to ride a bike, two in five own one, but fewer than one in seven regard themselves as regular cyclists, whilst almost half of those who own a bike say they never ride it.
In addition, the survey showed that one in three bike-owners go for a ride at least once a month.
