Terms and Conditions - Purchase of Cytech Theory One Distance Learning Course

A theory based course covering the following modules:

• Health & Safety
• Workshop Practices
• British Standard 6102:1 1992
  
• Torque Wrenches
• Lubricants & Greases
  
• Pre-Delivery Inspection
  
• Tyres & Tubes
  
• Consumer Protection Act

This course is provided through ActSmart on behalf of the Association of Cycle Traders who oversee and accredit Cytech training.

The course:
The course is delivered in paper format in a ring-bound folder. Each module is covered in an individual chapter and there are 5 multiple choice question papers to answer. These papers must be returned for marking with 6 months of receipt of the course folder. Your question papers will then be marked within 6 weeks. The pass mark for this course is 90% correct answers. If this mark is achieved a Cytech Theory One certificate and letter of attainment will be issued by post.

If you do not achieve the minimum pass mark you will be given an opportunity to re-submit your question paper at no extra cost.

Payment:
All Cytech Distance Learning courses are sold on a pre-payment basis. This can be paid by cheque, debit / credit card, BACS or PayPal. Please make cheques payable to ActSmart. To make payment via BACS please call us on 0845 618 7256 so we can provide you with our bank details. Card payments can also be made over the phone, or alternatively please provide your card details on the application form.

Course folders will usually be sent (via Royal Mail) within 7 days of receipt of your order.

Cancellations:
If you change your mind about taking the course you will be entitled to a refund as long as you return the course folder un-used, undamaged and in a saleable condition, within 14 days of receipt of the folder. Please enclose a written notice stating that you wish to cancel your course. You will be responsible for the cost of the return of the course folder.

We will reimburse you the total cost of the course within 30 days of receipt of the returned course folder, assuming it is unused, undamaged and in a saleable condition.
